3DS Max – PlugIns – Management
When 3DS MAX starts, it checks plugin compatibility and does not load plugins with errors as missing .dll and others problems.
You can check PlugIns status inside:
MAIN TOP MENU> Customize> Plugin Manager> RMB for additional options
You can load a new PlugIn:
MAIN TOP MENU> Customize> Plugin Manager> RMB> Load New Plugin…
The 3DS Max PlugIns are usually installed in:
– program files/autodesk/your 3dsmax folder/stdplugs
– program files/autodesk/your 3dsmax folder/plugins
The plugin extension usually are:
– *.dli
– *.dlu
