The Affect Region modifier is a surface modeling tool, primarily used with vertex sub-object selections while surface modeling.

With FFD you can:

– model a geometry
– animate a geometry

GENERAL

1. Create an object
2. Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Modifier List> OBJECT-SPACE MODIFIERS> Affect Region
3. RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Affect Region> Points, select a contol points in the viewport and move it

ERASE THE MODIFIER

RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> LMB over the modifier (blu highlight)> RMB over the modifier> Delete

CREATE THE MODIFIER

1. Create an object
2. Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Modifier List> OBJECT-SPACE MODIFIERS> Wave

SETUP THE MODIFIER

Parameters
Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Wave, setup the parameters

Gizmo
Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Wave> Gizmo, move the Gizmo in the viewport

Center
Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Wave> Center, move the center in the viewport

ERASE THE MODIFIER

RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> LMB over the modifier (blu highlight)> RMB over the modifier> Delete

Select the object, RIGHT COLUMN> Modify> Twist> Center, move the center in the viewport
