PIVOT SETUP

Changing pivot setup, rotation center is changed.

Right Column>Hierarchy>Adjust Pivot>Affect Pivot Only
Click Affect Pivot Only, click Main Toolbar>Select and Move, move only the pivot.

Right Column>Hierarchy>Adjust Pivot>Reset Pivot

Right Column>Hierarchy>Working Pivot
Toggle between Edit Working Pivot / Use Working Pivot

Right Column>Hierarchy>Adjust Transform
Don’t Affect Children

REFERENCE COORDINATE SYSTEM / SELECTION CENTER

Changing Reference Coordinate System / Selection Center, rotation center is changed.

GENERAL:

LMB single click: single object selection
LMB + DRAG: selection region
LMB + CTRL: multiple object selection

MAIN TOOLBAR:

– Select Object

– Select by Name (obsolete, the most powerful selection tool is Tools> New Scene Explorer)

– Selection Region: rectangle, circle, poly, lasso, paint selection.
Windows Selection: you select only the objects within the selection.
Rectangular Selection: you select all objects within the region, plus any objects crossing the boundaries of the region.

– Edit Named Selection Set
– Named Selection Set Rollout

– Manage Layers (here you can select object)

– Curve Editor (here you can select object)

– Schematic View (here you can select object), really a great tool!

MAIN TOP MENU:

Edit> Select All
Edit> Select None
Edit> Select Invert

Edit> Select Similar (example: all Pyramid, all Cylinder…)
Edit> Select Istances

Edit> Select by… Layer, Name, Color

Edit> Select Region… rectangle, circle, poly, lasso, paint selection / window, crossing

Edit> Manage Selection Sets
To create a selection set: select 2 or more objects in the wiewport, click Create New Set

Tools> Open Container Explorer

Tools> New Scene Explorer…
Tools> Manage Scene Explorer…

Grafica 3D Rovigo – Come fare buona grafica 3D

Benvenuto!
Sono Andrea Tonin, fondatore e amministratore di “Luce Digitale”.

Fin dalla metà degli anni 90 rimasi fulminato dai rendering tridimensionali realizzati con i primi processori Pentium, da qui la decisione di dedicarmi allo studio della grafica 3D, anche se allora era veramente difficile riuscire ad esprimersi al meglio utilizzando potenze di calcolo ridotte e software appena nati.
